This isn't your usual 'what's it worth' thread. I have a good spec 2007 S Works car I want to sell. I will advertise it on PH, but honestly last time I sold a car on PH was so frustrating, I swore I'd never do it again. So, this is an appeal for any selling tips from wise and wordly before I reach for the crack pipe and/or tranquillisers and chuck away the next few weekends? Thanks.

Highlight all spec clearly, in plain accurate English. There is never harm in adding in valuable history but no one wants to read your life story.

History of the car is also of interest.

Avoid car selling clichés. No one cares if it was owned by a woman or a new child forces you to sell.

Be realistic about your selling price. Everything will sell.

All good advice above.

Get a realist price is the key thing, realise that to sell you are not going to get a huge value from all those extras, they will just make it a bit easier to sell if its priced right.

What might have cost you nearly 25k is only really going to fetch about 15k now if its got about 40k miles on the clock. But thats just a guess seeing as we don't know your full spec.
