Commuting on the new Giant FCR
Discussion
I treated myself to the FCR2 a couple of weeks ago, what a lovely bike, comfy, good riding position. Its really quick too, very low rolling resistance.
I fitted some genuine Giant slim mud gaurds to keep the worst of the filthy road muck off me and the bike.
Ive fitted a Sigma speedo, £15 from decathalon, 15 mins to fit and very easy to calibrate and read with the benefit of stem mounting option.
Ive also put SPDs on the bike which are a big gain over the supplied toe clip pedals.
Anyone wanting a fast commute bike certainly wont be disappointed with this bike. The only thing is Im taking longer and longer routes home and sorting out a few decent day off rides.
