Read a beauty this week, apparently Jupiter got a bit too close to the sun and ignited into a star.

Now, with some conspiracy theories their advocates make up some half-baked stories to back up their conspiracies. However, with this one, I really can't see the mileage in it. Anyone with a telescope can disprove it and that's before we get into the practical aspects.

Another good one is that we can't see the moon during the day, the only reason we do is because the governments are beaming sound waves at us all and making us think we can see the moon. I have no idea why.

The internet. Giving the insane a platform to speak utter tosh.

So, what are the daftest conspiracy theories you have heard off. Let's assume the moon landing is up their at number 1 and not let this descend into a did we / didn't we argument.

I quite like the Milan Mandaric letting Harry go to Southampton with the aim of getting Saints relegated, with the other half of the deal being that he'd take him back to Pompey when the mission was complete...

The 9/11 missiles.

Somehow they armed a passenger jet with missles at a popular airport, and these were needed to shoot the WTC, as otherwise the plane would bounce off the glass.

A number of ex CSA operatives have been brainwashed to forget their previous activities and are now monitored by a shadowy organization known as Littlewoods.

They know not why, but are compelled to start random threads on web forums containing the code phrase 'Conspiracy theories' - this is them checking in with their handlers subconciously.

Thats shocking!

...but hang-on, whats the difference between a plane hitting a building at 300 - 400 mph (just a guess there) and a missile being launched at the same building .5 of second before the plane hits it??!

The plane might 'bounce' off!?! rolleyes

It was needed to trigger the controlled demolition of the charges placed in the structure of the building when it was originally buit.

Cmon now, do keep up at the back.

I like the penatagon 9/11 theories. I reckon a plane hitting the building would have made a bigger hole!

The apparent failure of RBS is a plan by the english government to ruin the Scottish economy, thus holding off full devolution and preventing us from taking back our oilfields until they have run out completely.

The fake US landing on the moon. There is a large group who believe it never happened and was staged.

Planet X?

What.

The.

fk.

There's a giant planet/dead sun orbiting in our solar system that no ones noticed yet? That's nearly as bad as the whole "the Earth is round" thing.

Disproved by the fact that English government is 90% run by bagpipers and Tam O´Shanters.
