Nothing to see here

No idea why but for the last couple of days I keep getting 'nothing to see here' messages when clicking on threads. It's quite annoying as there quite obviously is something there as when I click it again it appears, as if by magic.

could this be a cookie problem?

I'm also getting a few other wierd goings on, for example when I click my stuff, it shows things from 12 hours ago as being the newest, yet when I click it again I get my latest ramblings. Another example is when I click what's new and it says there are no new topics, then I click it again and there are new topics galore.

I'm getting that too, plus search is timing out, and a minute or two ago my "My Stuff" had gone back in time to last night.

Also, I'm getting the problem where ph isn't updating and all I can see if posts from 2am

Or when I post, they don't appear

So either the space time continum is torn and we're forced to collectively suffer groundhog night, or the PH servers have fallen over.

Been on ten minutes, and had this appear at least a dozen times

The database server that holds the search got its knickers in a twist overnight but didn't inform us. So when it came back on-line after doing the search backup it didn't update with the new threads... hence the nothing to see here problem.

Search has been temporarily disabled and the database has caught back up.
