I've just had the joy of one of my front springs shearing on my car. It's the passenger side which has broken. I have got a price for a new one but should I change both or can I get away with just replacing one, seeing as money is tight and I want to sell the car soon anyway. Its a 1.4 52 plate fiesta by the way..

I got a quote for £49.50 each, but then on the Ford parts website there is a set of Eibach for £106.06.. any thoughts...

Eibachs are great, probably much better quality than the OE parts. You will, however, have to declare them as a modification on your insurance because they'll lower the car. That might just negate any benefit in purchase price...

Hi, I have a set of springs from a mk5 Zetec S (02) which would fit( i have a new suspension set up), slightly lower I think, but still OEM. They should fit. I would let them go cheap.
