Decided to sell my Cross country bike as my knees are not so strong after 3 operations !!

I built the bike myself with what i consider the best parts for the job. A mix. of Raceface,Hope, more hope and Titanium Hope ! Chris King,Easton,XTR and XT ,FOX 80rl'setc

where is a good place to sell ? Can imagine ebay is a nightmare ! Would prefer a full "face to face" sale etc
London based .I also hear Gumtree is full of time wasters etc

Help !

Some friends have said i should take it apart and sell them> i really want someone to buy the whole bike and enjoy it. It took me 4 years to get it right. now i doubt i would ever change a part. I am anti "bling" and the last few years in Bikes have only seemed to produce stuff that is not better than it use to be (Hope brakes for instance !!)

You need to find the right crowd as I bike like this will sell to the people in the know.
I would love it, but its a tad too short and I already have a Ti hardtail in the stable

Worth looking at www.retrobike.co.uk too - it's not just retro on there - lots of custom builders who would appreciate your bike.

whole bike : £1200.00

Frame only £650.00

whole bike includes (all top condition) Fox 80RL's, Chris king, Easton Monkey lite carbons. Race face cranks and BB. DX sealed flat pedals. Hope Titanium Glide hubs (front disk only) Hand built (By Hope ) with maviv rims etc. New precision bearings. Hope Titanium QR front and rear. XT and XTR. Race face stem and post. Avid mech front XTR V back XT shifters etc . Each and every piece chosen to work as a team and to offer easy servicing. I have had so many types of forks and brakes on this bike and this set up now offers the best solution.

how old is that frame? Does it not have a Disc mountings on the rear? Seems a bit of a weird build if you run V brakes on the rear and a MECHANICAL disc on the front. Thats both heavy and a PITA. You should have gone with XTR V's all around and kept the weight down.

When did you build it, ie how old are the parts on this thing.
