Restaurants in Cambs, Beds, Bucks, Herts areas

I'm looking for a nice restaurant (preferably country house style or fine dining) within 25 miles of me in St Neots Cambs, so reaching as far as Ely, Woburn, Baldock etc. Does anyone have any recomendations at around £30-40 (3 course) per head excluding wine and service?

Been there loads of times - last one a couple of weeks ago. Must have been having an off day though as the service was awful and food not up to their usual standards.
I just want somewhere a little different.
