Excellent. Like the idea of the split feeds. I'd often wondered why ITV couldn't cobble together some sort of 'live' sidebar on the screen showing positions and stops like the DTM coverage on Motors uses.

Just out of interest, why is the Brazil practice relegated to BBC 2? not a complaint, just wndering...Is there some other sporting event on?!

Brilliant news, regardless of peoples opinions on the reporting team, the content and coverage this year will be excellent, especially being able to watch live practice.

Can't wait for the season to begin!!

Mmm is does look good. Pity they couln't integrate the live timing with the TV feeds, but then I'l just stick to having my PC on in the background (as opposed to turning to it during adverts!)

Why?

Lewis has nothing to do with the technology that the BBC have at their disposal - look how Wimbledon has been transformed over recent years with the red button.

Lewis is a great driver, but I wish people would stop linking him to every positive piece of news... why, he might even be buying out Honda with all the billions he's expected to earn over the coming years!!!

No HD coverage this year, but ya never know may get some by end of year.

Not 100% and i can't check atm, but I am fairly sure that many do, it's more a case of some host broadcasters can, some can't and rather than mix and match they just stay with the old tec.

I would expect that you will find it'll be HD within 2 years.
