I just received this email below, they have delayed the 3am sailing to 5am arriving in Newhaven at 8am.

Dear Customer

We would like to advise you that your departure from Dieppe on 15/06/2009 at 03h00 am will be delayed to 05h00 am due to operational changes. Please contact us on: 0800-650-100(FR) or 0800-917-1201 (GB).

Please accept our apologies for the modifications and thank you very much for choosing to travel with LD Transmanche Ferries.

Best wishes,

Customer Services

Hope they put the 10:30 pm wednesday night Newhaven Dieppe back by 2 hours as well, Wed arrive in France at the slightly more civil time of 05:30!

There seems to be a fair bit of confusion with their Newhaven/Dieppe timetable, as I am booked on the 10th June at 0830, the timetable on the website says 0930 local time, and my mates could only book 1030 - so none of us know which the true time is given that there is only one crossing in the morning

I am p**sed off now, I booked the sleeper crossing on Wed night, leave Newhaven at 11pm and arrive at Dieppe at 6am, civilised early start after a few hours kip.
Now they are sailing at 10.30pm but chucking us off the boat at 3.30 in the morning.

We had this when attending the classic in 2006 and the fog in france didnt help either.
On the plus side we were well through rouen and out the other side when we stopped for breakfast.
