Discussion
Have I unknowingly been zapped through a timewarp, or is this Enzo a tad optimistically priced?!:

Anyone know the story? How many black Enzos are known to be in the UK?
The story? Yeah, insanity just about covers it. The credit crunch misses Amari, and prices have kept rocketing on all cars. Next he'll be selling AMV8s for over 50k over list, and trying to knock out some lovely sub prime lots in the US for record levels. Class.Anyone know the story? Where can I get one of those carbon rear wings with an uprated sound system, as per his silver Lamborghini Diablo 6.0VT?http://www.amarisupercars.com/index.cgi?action=3&a...

I'm not so sure it is that optimistic. I thought black was a sought after colour?
£1.2m in sterling is a depreciating, risky asset. The Bank of England have stated they are going to start printing more of it, last I heard Ferrari had no plans to start producing more Enzos.
If 700k-ish buys a red one at the moment (it does), tough to see black being worth 70% more. 7% more maybe. So I agree, its not optimistic pricing, its stupid.£1.2m in sterling is a depreciating, risky asset. The ultra low miles red one at nick cartwright is up at 850k in top marques,But 900k on pistonheads. looks like prices are only going up here!!lol

People can ask what they want for anything, that doesn't mean it becomes the actual price, or in this case anywhere near the price. At best the Enzo is going nowhere at the moment, which is still relatively good compared to most other assets across all markets.Martin
