The sort of annoying jingle that makes you want to launch yourself from a speeding train, or if you happen to have one on your phone, guarantees you the luxury of an empty carriage. Over to you... phone

hehe This doesn't look like it's going well.

A friend of mine (not me I don't own one) has an early Impreza STi and his phone had a song called 'check out my Subaru' on it, which was very NSFW and also rubbish. Not seen him for a while, but I'm sure he still has it on there.

I thought it was obivous that you merely give your opinion on the most annoying chavvy scum type ringtones?

Or was I wrong?

I don't think one should take the snail's comments too literally.

I have an actual song from my music library as my ringtone; Gun's n Roses- You Could Be Mine, the soundtrack from Terminator 2. Don't like the generic tones.

Any bloody tune. Anything other than something that sounds like a phone-ring is just someone expressing their ego to the world. And if in "quiet" company like on a train then surely stick the phone where you can feel the buzzer and turn off the damned ringing altogether.

And breathe.

...and the ones who have their 'cute' little fave ring tone loaded, but as soon as they hear it they scrabble to turn it off with a sheepish look on their face, as they feel like a right cock.

I have to agree with this man, there is no need for ring tones at all, I've not had one in over 5 years now and seldom miss a call that I could have picked up if I had a loud annoying ringtone instead of a discreet vibration.
