F'ing Phone!!!!!!
Discussion
I've had loads of PDA type phones for work and have hated all of them. None of them worked properly. I've come to the conclusion that it can't always be the phone which only leaves windows mobile that they all ran.
I got an iPhone at the start of the year. Typing this reply on it now. Best phone I have had my miles. Unlike win mobile, it can multitask, is quick and doesn't require a reset every 5 mins. Also syncs with outlook contacts etc when docked. All this from someone who's never been an apple fan.
Still got the crap company palm treo - had to reset it twice today already.
None of this helps you though does it.

I did the PC suit back up ... But when the phone crashed i lost the lot everything!!!!
Backed the phone up from pc and nothing just all the software and games but not the contacts or pics.....
Going back to a phone with a memory card.......
Are you sure you used the right backup or was there only one? By default, contacts should be backed up and you can restore them at any time.Backed the phone up from pc and nothing just all the software and games but not the contacts or pics.....

What happened to cause it to crash like that?
Unfortunately, it's the same with most mobile devices, like your PC, always have a regular confirmed backup
I'm surprised you lost the photos as these should be stored on the 'Mass Memory' of which you have 8Gb on the N95 8GB. Has this been wiped too?
It's not much help now, but you can backup the volatile phone contents (such as contacts) to the mass memory without having to connect to a PC. That way, if something happens, you have a backup on the phone. You do this with:
Menu > Tools > Utilities > Memory > Options > Back up phone memory
Would still always have a verified backup on the PC though incase your phone gets lost of stolen.
