Anybody else fallen victim of these people? You may, but haven't yet realised it.

Basically they have deals with large online merchants like Virgin, Traibnline.com anmd interflora. You buy something and get a pop up window asking if you would like a £15 discount on your next purchase. You click 'Yes' and get this company. You enter a few details and they send you a registration to get your disciount, easy?

But what you don't realise is that you have authorised a deduction of £9 or £10 a month as a 'membership fee'. They claim you gave your credit card details and signed up to the membership but it looks in fact like the merchant is sharing that detail.

The fallout is here:

Even the first google hit on their company name is their own page explaining why this has appeared on your bank statement.

I picked mine up in a day or so and cancelled membership (automated, no peple involved at all) but some people haven't noticed for almost a year.

I have had a winge at thetrainline.com, told my bank and emailed trading standards.

Beware the pop up!
