Can anyone suggest insurance companies here in Dubai?

Its that time of year again and I want to get the best deal.

AXA seem to be pretty good.

They have the most annoying ad on the radio but Gargash Insurance are not bad. Have just got my second car brokered thru them (ultimately with RSA) and they found a good deal with protected NCB, agency repairs, GCC coverage (not just Oman) and re-registration services.

do these car insurance companies cover other gulf states. i'm moving to Qatar and looking to bring my UK car with me.

I go through the Porche bulk scheme with RSA and it seems ok.

mine is 2004.

Nov 2007 although it's listed as MY08 car.

They valued it at AED 213,000 and the premium was AED 13,550 - that's with 1yr NCB

just check that you can take your UK car. I came across several issues with taking my 2000 cerb. Main one being it had to be left hand drive to be registered here and driven.
