I really should start my own little thread so I can ask annoying questions and not upset anyone... but anyway...

The origional Wolfrace wheels on my M appear to have a sort of sleeve pressed into the four stud holes on the wheel.

They reduce the size of the hole and also provide a slightly tapered surface on the outside for the bolt to bite up against...Im guessing they are harder than the wheel so stop the nut damanging the alloy.

I seem to be missing half a douzen of these inserts from my wheels meaning that the nuts wont do up properly, and if they do the wheel has play in it because the nuts dont sit tighly in the hole in the alloy.

Where can I get replacement inserts? were they a standard issue part or am I going to have to get some machined up?

Appreicate your thoughts.

Haha.. can of worms I suspect tongue out

Adrian, I just measured the insert/washer thing and it measures:
ID 11/16"
OD 1/7/64"
thickness 1/4"

Does that sound about right?
