Anyone know who did this to this elise S1, or know the car/prev owner?

Not convinced about the fertility symbol on the back, seems a little over price too considering the body mods.

Any ideas?

Was previously advertised on the AutoTrader for months at another garage before HiTorq got it in.

Looks guff imho, all or nothing with the MS kit in my opinion.

I agree, given the angle of that ridiculous air-brake at the back.

Would the front splitter make drag worse or better do you suppose?

I can't imagine the flared arches would slow it down much.

Mind you if I took that wing off, where would I put my *No Fear* sticker??

As I said on the SELOC thread about it, some TMR's and a Sport 160 spoiler and it'd look nice, IMO.

It was for sales at Paddocks Garage in Dunmow for a LOOONG time. They wanted 12k for it or something. I would always cry/laugh whenever I saw it there.. poor thing. Apart from the horrendous body work and a leather retrim (poor IMHO), its completely standard.
I remembered I offered them 7k to take it as I wanted a project car for my Honda conversion.
It was a SOR deal, so maybe the owner got fed up and sold it to hitorq in hopes it would sell.

ETA..aha, i see its been lowered now. but it would need 120mm wheelspacers to fill the rear arches

What would spacers do to the handling do you suppose?

I cant decide if I like that wide body elise or not. (sans fertility symbol wing)

There's such a fine line between cool and dhead.
