Tire Sizes for 16inch Spiders

Hi there.

Can anyone recommend a good and working tire combination on a Cerbera SpeedSix with 16 inch Spieder Alloys?

AFAIK, TVR´s choice from the factory was 225/45 R16 front, and 245/45 R16 rear. Can someone confirm that?
Currently there are 225/50 R16 front and 225/55 R16 at the rear end. That combination looks quite good.

Regarding the type, i am thinking of Toyo Proxes 888. The would not have to cope with everydays use.

Any comments?

Hi,

I believe the early speed sixes were 225 fornt and rear but I would gp for 225 front and 245 rear.

The R888's are the mutts nuts

I have these sizes on mine and they are fine for daily use on the rubbish roads over here.

I have used them on track days as well and just increased the tyre pressures.

Oh, and for what it's worth, I just use cheap tyres as the good ones don't last any longer.
