Fish 'n' chip run 5th of April

Hi All

Further to the previous thread, I propose that we do a Fish 'n' chip run on the 5th of April to Aldeburgh.

Right, times and places

Pre-meeting place - A few people are meeting at Red Lodge truck stop beforehand

We'll aim to get here at 8:30 for the drive up the A11 to Thetford

Start point at Thetford - Sainsbury Car park 9am

We should be here by 10am

We'll then drive to Aldeburgh and hopefully get there by 11:15 (ish)
As said parking may be tight so park where ever you can. There is a car park at the far end of the High Street that I'll aim for but if you see a space on the High Street, grab it (it's also free, but the car park is a pound or so).

Once there you are you are free to do whatever you like There is a Fish'n'chip shop not far from the car park that opens at midday. You can get your food there and eat on the sea front. Alternatively there is a sit down restaurant further down the high street. All the shops are open on a Sunday too.

Would join up with you in Stowmarket if you let me know meeting point and ETA at Stow?

Will be a good run out for the car as it will only be back on the road less than a week so a good chance to find any niggles before Marham.

Oooh April

- that means Monza taxed again and back on the road
- nice little run in preparation for Marham
- Starting in Thetford - I live here so Bonus
- Chish and fips in Alburgh (my favorite - actually a sausage in chips no fish eating person but no worries)

I would like to join up for the fish n chip run but its young Chris`s (5mudge) first race at snetterton on the 5th as long as his car is ready so sue and me are going to help and support him

Had a reccy yesterday and stuffed my face with fish and chips, just to check the quality of course

I also saw a certain yellow V8 Westfield in the high street and loads of Porsches.

So anyone else for the seaside invasion?

yeP it was me, Shirley and I decided to have a blast up to Aldeburgh yesterday, and we too tried the fish and chips (again) I left the Westfield parked in the highstreet next to a Boxster

Had a great drive up there , played with a few Skylines on the way there, they were ALL On there way to Bentwaters to beat to set a Guiness book of records, record for the most cars doing donuts together

Can you add us to this list looking forward to this day out

I am in Woodrbidge, can pop down to Stowmarket and meet then hoon up in the convoy!
