blower motor circuit

tad confused, i have the three wires the Green/Yellow, Green/Gray and Black from the dash area of the harness for the heater fan. I have the A/c Wires for the A/c switch. 5 terminal fan switch, with the pre-fabbed harness with 4 wires, yellow, orange and red which go to the motor plug, and the black with a female spade, and the motor has the black wire with the ring terminal which is grounded. the instructions aren't too clear, and i haven't found any tips on any build sites so i can avoid looking like a noob by starting this thread. the #54 terminal designation shows a square connector with 4 pins, labeled red, yellow, orange, and black, with the green/yellow to the red, green/gray to the orange, and black to black and the yellow is empty. any explanations so i can regain my pride?

next question, is i only got 6 switches, hazard, (!), lights, washer, wiper and rear fog light. i'm missing the heater fan switch it seems, been rummaging through the few remaining boxes (i have an entire kit) and i don't see it anywhere else.

this shows the 6 switches from craig-ultima's build, i have but the wiring diagram shows a backlit fan switch. am i over complicating this?


but it in my harness i have a green/yellow, green/gray, green with the black, black red backlight wiring for a rocker switch. i powered the motor and grounded it and have fan speeds, so i may delete the switch option from the harness and just power the damn fan switch...

get the PDF version of the wiring harness, make sure to zoom in so you see the colors right.

as you can see there is two blowers in the heater so green grey should activate
right motor and green yellow left motor (or vice versa) the black wire is the common
ground, the green wire is the supply to the switch. Not a green black.

My loom came with a detailed description and if I look at it
it shows a green wire (coming from the 12V supply)
and green/grey (go to either of the + of the motors) and a green yellow (go to the second blower motor)
from the rocker switch. You can actually connect them together with the green and see if both blower
motors are running (assuming that the blowers are connected)
All the red Black wire are for indicators/back lights in the rocker switches or gauges

There is not enough detail on the main build disk but there is a very good factory disc for installing the heater / aircon .You will have to ask for it if you are missing it like I was.

When I did mine the fan control for aircon/heater was a rotary switch fitted to the ali panel under the dash.
The sixth switch you have in your picture may be the over-ride switch for the radiator fans.
