The small black button at the front of the gear lever on the drivers side is flashing green rapidly. The car is parked up in the garage with the accumate plugged in. I have never seen it flash before and didn't think it worked as have tried pressing it when in the car and it hasn't lit up or done anything.

I thought it was to lock the doors while in the car?

Thanks

Mine flashes when I have the alarm set (along with the red ones).

The only other time it did this was when I had a dry-joint in the control box in the boot.

That happened to me a few weeks ago. I'd locked the car (double checked, it was locked) and the green LED was flashing rapidly...... it didn't seem to stop after a few mins, so just left it. Don't know what it means tho' ???????? confused

I thought it was the interior door lock switch?

Mine doesn't seem to work/do anything though.

start the car (or at least turn the ignition on / disarm it so it buzzing waiting to be started), roll down the window, press the little green flashy button and then press the door button on the underside of the mirror. The door should not open.

Just tried mine, works fine! biggrin Was wondering how I was meant to turn it off though. Seems you have to use the interior door open button, then upon the door closing the exterior buttons work again. You can't just press the button near the gear lever again to turn it off.
