Tents & camping equipment

Decathalon is a great place to buy fairly good non branded kit. It tends to be very good value for money, however, beeing a camping geek and growing up in the mountains, then Cotswold is where it's at for me I'm afraid.

i have a load of cheapie camping gear from Decathalon that is still going strong 4 or 5 years later!!
I'm struggling to see how a tent and sleeping bag would be any good where you are. A hammock maybe, but a tent and sleeping bag??
Its my old tent from Le Mans thats still going strong! Been used for a few Mangrove expeditions and some beach night fishing sorties too!!

I got all my camping gear last year from Amazon, gas stoves, camping tables, tents, sleeping bags, torches etc. I think there was a sale on at the time which helped, but the main thing was that they actually have customer reviews, so i wanted to check out if a 3 man tent was big enough, and waterproof enough for me, reviews were very helpful for that.

Anyone got any recommendations for buying the above online? We're going touring in Italy later in the year, and really want this kit as standby (or if the weather's really good!). Decent tent that you can stand up in, and a simple cooker & other bits and pieces is what we're after
Get a coleman stove, they burn petrol and provide ferocious heat!Gassing Station | The Pie & Piston Archive | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
