Brake Pad Question
Discussion
Hi,
I have had my Elise 111R for 10 days now and my face is aching from my massive grin.
I noticed the other day when washing her that she is fitted with "Red Stuff" ceramic brake pads. I bought the car second hand, and I don't think these are standard. I've done a bit of looking around and these seem to be track orientated pads (which worries me that the car has been a track slag before I got it, but it's v low milage, well serviced and very tidy etc so should be ok). My question is, are these pads ok for day to day use on the road or should I be looking to change them?
Sorry, I realise this is a complete newby question.
