possible spuff seat question

Does anyone know whether, if you take the seats completely out (and inevitably disassemble to some degree) you can swap the main seat bits of the driver and passenger seats around - thinking being that the tired bits will be in the non-tired locations then.

(have assumed the inertia clicky bit is attached to the mounting frame, rather than the "seat" itself)
