I think some of you know this car from it's previous owners.

Needs a lot of TLC to bring back to like new - but give me time.

BTW, any recommended independant garages in Herts, Middx or N. London for those jobs that I can't be ar$ed to do?

Sounds & goes like the dog's danglies.

I like it.

Nice motor!

Also on this pic:

No doubt you've seen the SEAC pages:
http://www.theseacpages.co.uk/

More info on your car there.

Well done bud - good purchase.

Welcome. The day you bought the SEAC your world changed irreversibly.

Them wheels will come up fine. Mine were similar before I had them done.

They're held together with 10 point bolts - not hex or bi-hex like normal. What you need is:

-To get the tyres removed
-To borrow my highly expensive imported from Germany 10-point sockets to remove the old ones
-To send yer wheels off to someone who'll deal with splitties. There are a few places around
-To get on the 'bay, and buy 120 M7*24mm chrome plated splitrim bolts and matching nuts with Bi-Hex heads from here:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/120-Felgenschrauben-7x24-Ede...

-To get the people that refurb the wheels to reassemble the wheels with the new bolts.
-To get the boys that disounted the tyres to put em back on again, albeit wearing shades so they dont get a headache off the seriously shiny rims.

After:

Thanks for the welcome.

Ed, great job on the wheels but I wish to go taller to at least the 16" OZ's with the corresponding wider rubber. I've been pestering several wedgers via pm regarding alternative wheels!

I've followed the threads re taking the wood dash panels out as mine need a trip to the vaneer shop. That's going to be the first job.

Those tray spoilers really do look ridiculous.

Just my opinion of course. I'd love an SEAC but the spoiler would have to go.

No...!! The spoiler is an integral part of the SEAC, it was designed for the race car..and homolagated with the road cars.
To take away the spoiler means emasculating the biggest & baddest wedges.
I love my giant tea tray! biggrin

Welcome T man, good to see another SEAC in safe hands. Looking good in white. yes

TVR Centre in Barnet come highly recommended. I've taken my SEAC to them numerous times.

Taking the spoiler off a SEAC would be like making the doors of a Lambo Countach open normally. Just wouldn't be the same. nono

Welcome - lovely car. Welcome to SEAC ownership - it's a rare privilege to own one biggrin

Those that think it does not need the spoiler .. go stand in a corner.
