Anyone know what you should expect for a completely standard lotus elise 1/4 mile time (99-00 reg). Not sure of the exact model, think its a 111r

Thank you

Certainly won't be an R as far as I know they were only build from 03 on?

is it an S1 or S2 elise?

It could be a 111s or maybe the standard 120bhp elise

Ok must be the 111s,

What do you think the standard 120bhp would achieve 1/4 mile?

14.07s @ 98.11mph, according to my Racelogic PBox. That was last summer in an almost stock 2000 W-reg S1, with just a decat, Hurricane and 52mm TB. It's not the sort of thing I normally do, but I'd just got the PBox and was curious, so I did a handful of runs, mostly in the low 14s, until the clutch started to smell. All on a private road, of course.

My standard(ish) '98 MMC S1 with Hurricane, full Larini, Technomagnesio wheels etc would run consistent 13.8s all day down at Meremere raceway.

Ages ago, I drove a completely standard S1 that was at a dealer. Standard induction, non-sports exhaust, brakes, the lot. It was a little uninspiring to be honest and almost put me off getting an Elise. Glad I persevered!

Anyway back to OP. I have no idea, sorry. Light weight, lowish powered cars often don't fair that well over 1/4 miles but I would have though 14ish is about the ballpark.
