Yes. Its daft.

So are leap years.

I think God should be held culpable and loose his final-salary pension. I mean who just guesses the angles when setting up something like a solar system??? Complete incompetence!

Either that or he needs to come back in a re-calibrate the universe.

Scrap BST? I think we should be +1 hour all the time.

Whats the point in having the sun rise at around 3am in the middle of the summer when we are unable to make the most of it.

EDIT, i think your 2nd poll with regards to dogging is the wrong way around as BST makes the night's lighter... so it should be a "yes, i like dark nights..."

We waste sooooooooo much light in the summer.

(mind you, I remember when we stayed on BST all winter in 1970)

And.....leap years are not EVERY four years

Exactly, what's the point of having 6 hours of daylight before most people get up in the morning, when 99% of the population get up at 8-9 am and don't go to bed until 10 or 11. As long as it's light for when the kiddies go to school at 9am then that's all you need.

Daft system.
