Intersting concept, rallying in a TVR. Does it not pose a few problems like ground clearance, I have all on getting my cerb over a speed bump.

I run at about 6" and is fine but I know of a Banks Lotus Europa that runs 4" LOL. Now that is silly. I have done shock absorber changes and mounting changes and lots of development over 5 Years to get to this stage, we seem to be about there. I need to run a rear spoiler but regs wont let me so have to start experimenting with flat floor.

Hi

I'm in the initial stages of putting together a TVR S1 for rallying - thought I was the only one mad enough

I bought a write off a couple of weeks ago (without engine and front brakes) and what I have now discovered a rotten chassis (now that I have the body off)

I've just bought some steel to do the chassis, I have a 24v V6 Cossy to fit and some 283 discs and 4 pots. The suspension is Gas Spax and uprated (actual rates unknown at the mo) springs.

Could we have a chat about what mods you have done?

My fav rally roads are at Otterburn - I've only done 2 events at Eppynt

The vids looked good - I'll be a bit cheeky and ask what were your times like compared to the other 2 wheel drive brigade (and 4wd away from the meggabuck wrc ones)
