Nothing from the reverse light bulbs, would this be caused by a defective reverse switch somewhere on the gearbox?and is it an easy fix? Cheers,Tom

p.s. Venom`s very first fault in my 8 years of ownership so musn`t grumble!hehe

Can you check you have + feed at the bulb holder key on, in reverse gear.
If you dont, try shifting in and out of reverse, like give the rev switch a workout.
no joy prob be the switch on the gearbox.
i can scan my shop manual if you need a pic.

Mined stopped recently. Turned out to be a loose wire at the switch activated by the gear lever.
Yours is bound to be something different though.

Thanks Dave, I did check out the wiring and its the reverse switch, I see you need one also so maybe we should order a pair from Chuck (Job for Baz when Venom goes down south for a full service and bits in April)

Fine by me mate, will probably be easier to do whilst on a ramp, and I was going to try and pop up and see you whilst you were there anyway... thumbup
