Much has been said elsewhere, on Eurodragster and especially on Kingracing.com. Many of the car oriented members of PH who have skirted around these fora may not realise just what a pioneer of drag racing Paul was. He was also a passionate advocate of the sport and a patron of new talent. He was also a lovely bloke. I was honoured to meet him a couple of times, and his passing leaves a huge gap in the sport.

Godspeed was rarely a more apposite expression.

Was indeed a really lovely guy.

Upset me a great deal to hear of his passing but when I think back to him at the track I cant help smiling he was a real character
