E36 M3 3.0 for sale on Pistonheads....

Hi guys,

Im looking at M3's currently as i need a car that is a little more "professional" I spotted this one

Is there anything else that i should be asking about this car, that is not shown in the advert? This is a non Evo model.

A few things.....

Ask for detail about the history, make sure it all matches up, phone the garages it was serviced at etc to verify these.

Ask when the last Inspection 2 was done, mainly down to when the valve clearence where last checked, that can be £££ if needed to be done soon.

Ask when clutch and suspension has been replaced, if not they will need doing at some point.

Ask about rust on rear arches and boot lid.

There is a couple of things but can't think off the top of my head a the mo. Obviously all usual checks! Mainly go and see the car, you always get a feeler if its a good one or not!
