That the more exhausts a car had, the faster it would go. I remember once telling my dad that a Porsche 911 we saw in a car park wouldn't be that quick because it only had one exhaust pipe.

When I was younger and prone to a fair few hospital visits, I thought that local anaesthetic meant an anaesthetic which was from near where you lived.

I was always worried that I was getting my home towns anaesthetic and not the proper UK one......!

It was years until a nurse explained the difference to me, put my mind to rest that conversation did smile
