Hi all, wonder if anyone can help me out with some info?

The rear bushes on my B6 S4 Avant have got really bad recently (75K) and the back end is very 'wallowy'. Audi won't do this under warranty so was going to do it myself (plenty of time being Dole Scum) I have done plenty of bushes and suspension so should be strightforward.

Can anyone tell me though, which bushes will be the troublesome ones? I presume it'll be the ones on the track arms, does one end (body or lower arm end) go first? Or shall I so all four? Also is there any S4 specific complication in this job or is it just the standard remove arm, press out old bush, press in new bush, replace arm?

Any advice, guides welcome.

Looks like I better get myself on the dole if it pays enough to run a S4

Ha! Luckily I took out loan gauruntee so car is paid for, otherwise it would be on Autotrader as we speak.

Other costs aren't to bad.

Back end of an s4 dosent normally wallow, unless the suspension or anti roll bar links are knacked, mine is on the original bushes @ 140k with no issues, but the suspension and arb's have been changed along with the link rods.
It has been known for the arb mounting points to snap as well, best get it on a ramp and have a good look..

Just had new shocks fitted and I don't believe it is ARB related as it is getting alot of 'rear steer' on snap cornering, it's not rolling any more than it should.

No clunks or jerking either, just more rear steer than should be, pretty sure the track arm rubber bushes have gone soft allowing the rear wheels to steer under braking/acceleration/cornering.
