I know when at the Ace in jan, Paul was talking about the new headers for the R8 - Are they available yet?

Im not sure, but any decent ones would need to relocate the cats as they are right up close to the ports.

I managed to squeeze 360rwhp out of my stock setup, so its not too bad. Plenty of cat back systems failed to get anywhere near that. I think next best was in the 320 range, which suggests gains are to be made elsewhere with a stock system.

Would be interested to see some pics. The Monaro headers looked pretty good with a merge collector etc.
So if the vxr8 ones are similar they could be nice. What is the primary pipe size?

Here's the picture of my headers i fitted to my LS2 Ro,

They are 100 cell cats and the stainless headers were hpc coated ( www.hpcoatings.com.au/pages/hipercoat.htm )to keep the temps down a tad under the bonnet and alows the gasses to flow through better and last longer. They still look new after 8 months. see above link

All delivered for less than £1100. there link below

Nice and shinny smile Did you have them coated before you brought them? Does anyone know any companies over hear which does the same?

They were coated by capa when new. Well happy with them.
