500 Abarth test drive...
Discussion
Drove an Abarth Essesse at Slough on Saturday. Very impressed :-) Felt properly quick. Don't think I'll be orderinbg the Essesse pack though..the only aspect I liked was the 160bhp, and I'm sure there are other ways of getting that if we feel we need it.
So, we'll be ordering if I can make it not too painful financially...
We'll be part-exing our 12-month old 500 Lounge 1.4...plenty of options (sunroof, chrome pack, red calipers, rear tinted windows, dimming rear view mirror..). 13,000 miles. Dealer said the guide price was around £8k, but also added that they had never had a used 500 in to date.
Anyway, I'm hoping we can work it...otherwise the seisible thing to do is wait another 6 months.

I was offered £7.5k on my 1.2 Sport with 7500 miles on the odometer. It had over £2000 worth of extras ie electric glass sunroof and automatic climate etc)
So I'm not signing the dotted line for the time being.
