Decat pipes

The time has come to purchase some but not sure where the best place
any recommendations.

Dont mind fitting them myself so just need to buy them.

Also can you re use the clips that hold them on or do they Snap on removal
any info would be great....

Dave Chant (NTEL on here) makes them.
I've had a set for a Tuscan from him, and got some for a T350 on order.
Good quality.
The clips are removeable / reusable. If you do break one you can get repalcements from Racing Green, but they are about £45 each!

I and a couple of others have stainless ones from Edward Quick. Edward is the x factory exhaust designer and had his cats dyno tested, I really do not think you can get better. I was looking at Ntel ones as well and nearly ordered them (sorry ntel) but when I found out I could get them from (Quicky) I could not refuse.

I went for Quick's decats too, as I wanted the highest flowing design possible for the track, and they'd tried many variations of angles etc. on the TVR dyno before settling on the final version.

I have Edward Quicks decats on mt T350 and they are superbly engineered. Make the sound even better!

I’ve now had 2 sets of NTEL decat pipes.
One set on a MK1 Tuscan with NTELs end cans also. I’ve just had a set fitted to my T350, with a JP sports back box.
Both sound absolutely awesome. The T350 is has a slightly basier note to it and not quite as raspy.

Doesn't matter what they cost.......they are worth it. But I should add that both of mine were fitted with either NTELs sleeved end cans in the case of the Tuscan, and a JP back box with the T350. These both add a lot to the sound quality.

I've had my car decated but I believe the garage just used old cats with the cat part removed. Is this the norm? How much difference will a specifically designed set of decats make and how much do they cost? Is it best to have a remap following this?

Not heard of that one before.
You can email NTEL on here. He makes them and will give you a price.
I didn't remap either the Tuscan or T350 after the dectas were fitted.

I believe a number of peaple have done this but it seems a daft thing to do, you will not get the sound that you are looking for. I have kep my old cats as they are just incase I need them for a MOT in a couple of years time.

This was something that was done by the garage during a bodywork repair of my car as apparently my cats had started to degrade. They just told me they had decatted it. I didn't ask how they did this, maybe they did fit specific decats. I'll obviously ask them about this now!

we did this with our old tamora and with the sag and its 130db with sports silencers.
fully recommend for the deep sounding
