That time of year has arrived again, and as far as I can recall the official birthday is the 13th March(I await to be corrected)

So what do you want to do to celebrate this momentous occassion. Last years attempt at anything fell flat, so hopefully for 2009 we can actually achieve something memorable. The previous Devon Dash and Brecon Blast, need to be equalled if not surpassed

Weekend of 14th/15th March seems the most appropriate, if I am correct about it being the 13th, so who is interested, what do you want to do.

Names
Simon - Devon Dash(We can pick up Janitor on the way biggrin)

i could be in for this... as long as there are plenty of petrol-stations on the route (and only ones selling 98 octane or higher)... oh and lots of AA trucks too :-)

I know a couple of people warned me off, but I thought it wasn't fair to listen to 2nd or 3rd hand info. Might do another time... rolleyes

And yes Phil you could say that. I wouldn't though!! angel I'd just say it didn't work out and we split up wink

Anyway back to topic, I will keep an eye on this as I am free that weekend if theres something decent going on drivingbeer

Sadly I won't be able to join you this year chaps and chapesses. I feel sad that I've not really been able to come down and do a good Devon Dash, or a Burger Run at all since I sold the Honda'd car.

I'm getting married on the 21st so the 14/15th is possibly going to be a pretty busy weekend for me! Have a great time though, and I hope to join you for some off-roading later this year.

I would definitely join you, but it's my weekend on call - as per previous years. Oh the joys of a rolling 1 in 4 rota.

Will just be setting sail on the 15th from Antigua heading to the Azores and then back to the UK, so not quite going to be able to make it out to play....

Very much missing cars now, look forward to seeing you all when I'm back, have a fun run!

Oh and anyone bored at work can follow the sail back to the UK on the boat facebook page, it's linked from the front page of www.bigspiritadventures.com

A simple "can't make it" would do.
Now I am jealous.

i wouldn't be.... remember all those times when you are on your way home from a really great holiday... you have to wait in a horrible smelly, packed out, hot airport for hours until your flight is ready to board... you then sit in a cramped plane with screaming kids, whilst you fly through the night unable to sleep to arrive at luton airport in the pissing rain and freezing cold, only then to have to go to work the very next day...

well that i would imagine is rather similar to sailing back to the UK after a winter spent in the Caribbean... only much much slower.

but it will be good to have uncle kurt and jonti back in the uk so we can let the games recommence.
