My shiny GTO3 arrived on my drive on Saturday and am still childishly excited by it!
What a fantastic car, thrilled to bits!
Will get come pictures and post, needless to say the car is stunning
Couple of points I've noted, would be interested on people's thoughts:
1) The clutch is pretty binary, it's either in or out. (Not that bad, but you get the idea) Whilst the gearbox was out the mechanic noted that it was almost new and was a 'strange looking' AP item.
2) The heater control knob is pretty stiff and requires minute adjustment at the bottom left of the hot/cold scale to get the right temp, very difficult to do - easier to open or close the window.
3) The alarm remote works the central locking okay but doesn't beep when I activate it as per the manual. Not sure if the alarm goes off, will try to get it sounding at the weekend to make sure the siren works okay.
4) Throttle seems quite stiff despite the new cable
5) The indicator lamp in the dash panel is very dim, can only really see it at night, will look to put a brighter bulb in this
Am just so pleased, was worth the (almost) 3 week wait to pick it up.

True, but they've been very good about other larger items so I'm happy to sort the smaller things myself.Also, only noticed points 2-5 on the long (4 hour) journey home, not easy to pop back to get little things fixed.

Shouldn't give you in or out feel - should be just like you'd expect. I wonder whether the seals need changing? Unit should be very "normal" looking AP item.

Be very careful avtivating it then! Suggest you remove the passenger footwell cover and spray the valve arm whilst operating the rotary switch. Hopefully it is just seized a bit.

You need the manual. You can also set it to lock the doors on startup. Register with Noblemods (Phil) for a copy of the manual (Phil will require a blood sample for analysis to prove you really own a Noble!).

They can be lubed so try that first (both ends). Check where your cable runs as there was a factory mod to avoid it melting (yes really!). The unmodded run goes over the top of the forward turbo and is bad.

They aren't great, especially in the boost gauge. Suggest you leave alone and anyway, why do you want to see it in the day?!

Yes, it feels like a paddle clutch (but isn't according to the mech) I don't think it's a master or slave issue, it could just be a bit of crud/glaze on the clutch plate - will monitor it, not a serious problem I just have to make very gentle foot adjustments when pulling off, no issues at all on the move

Just read another post and the chap has exactly the same 'mostly hot' issues, from the responses it seems pretty common, will oil up the arms etc at the weekend (the cars, not mine)

I've applied, hopefully Phil will read this and process my registration - I have submitted a fragment of the true cross and the location of the last resting place of the Arc

Eeeek! Will look at that, will oil the pivot arm and check the spring rate on the pedal, throttle body seems perfectly normal in terms of ease to open

lol - difficult to see on the motorway, had the same problem with the Cerbera, LED bulbs did the trick. How easy is it to access the bulbs, does the silver panel need to be removed?

lol - difficult to see on the motorway, had the same problem with the Cerbera, LED bulbs did the trick. How easy is it to access the bulbs, does the silver panel need to be removed?
