Quickest ever RROD....

2 hours after getting my premium 360 back from repair, playing GTA, she went.
RROD..
apparently it had a new DVD drive and motherboard, so they thought it was a harddrive issue.
which its not.
guess it goes back again then

Bought a new 60GB just before christmas with RROD straight out the box wouldn't even boot up. Bloody things but the replacement one came the next day and is working fine.

It seems obvious that there is a number of people who have trouble with their 360's, I'm sure this sort of reply is fairly unhelpful (and not the first time either).

Calm down mate! Hes only jesting. I think its bloody funny as well that it went 2 hours after he had it back.

Its just one of those things. I was annoyed when mine went but it wasn't the end of the world. He wouldn't have put the thread up here if he didn't want a bit of banter!

When i bought my second one it managed to complete the initial update then RROD approx 30 mis later. Took it back to Argos where I bought it only to first tell me to send it to microsoft to which i refused then had to stand around for 30 minutes whilst they checked i wasnt returning a faulty one in replace of the one i bought.

Luckily the replacement worked.

Yeah, leave him alone. He's only 10. He did 2 paper rounds to afford his PS3; of course he's proud.

maybe because he's bored playing the half dozen decent games for the PS3 that are out.

Straight out of the box for me and I'd never even heard of RROD at the time, I asked a mate and he couldnt believe it was fooked straight away either. Took it back to Woolworths (remember them!) and they wanted to return it to Microsoft, no fooking way, replacement lasted less than a year as well!

Having said that next time it goes I'll be buying another one, Forza is very addictive!
