The satisfaction of power tools.
Discussion
At the weekend the wife and I cut back the main shrubbery. The exercise generated a vast quantity of offcut stems, stalks and wood. So on Sunday morning we went a bought a chipper.
Feed the wood in. It sucks away. Bam. Instant smush!
Deeply satisfying. Almost as good as a really big power drill.

Got to love power tools. A man can never have too many.

Ah yes, the week I got a decent drill, I was putting up anything and everything. I also drilled a few holes in some items that didn't need holes put in.... I event went out and bought hanging baskets just so I could drill into the brickwork outside. A drill that just seemlessly drills into bricks, that is fun.....
It's a man thing I guess.

I like the H&S you practice - goggles, gloves and bare arms

Also the empty beer tin next to you

And thats our responsable and elder team mate not me.

Yup, it's like when you first use a proper SDS-Plus drill after years of pissing about with 'hammer drills' and 'masonry bits'. Hot knife, meet butter...It's a man thing I guess.
