Front Splitter

I have a front splitter and 'T' bar to fit to my car. I have offered up the splitter to try and judge its position, and to see how far this should protrude forward of the grill.
Can someone take a measurement for me from an original MK1 'S' and poss post a pic....would like it to "look right". Thanks.

Ditto for me. I have had a new splitter in the garage since before Christmas.

Apart from waiting for a nice weekend to complete, I also would like some guidfyance.

basically in line with end of the bonnet. Then the grill is slightly set back creating jaws of death look. that's mine anyway! (mind the kerb eh!)
