Can someone inform me as to whether or not Orange are in violation of this by not sending me any sort of notifications of my bill payments via direct debit each month?

I do online, but it's up to me to log in and look at it. I thought they were supposed to notify me one way or another, text/email/post, etc?

I pay my council tax and don't get monthly notification of it,same goes for my gas,leccy and phone...

Have you given them a call to ask? I don't get bills (like you have to log on for those) but I do get a 1 page 'statement' from Orange outlining the amount that'll be taken from my bank. Perhaps they have a bad address for you?

If they sent it by posted would they have to come round and watch you open it.

I'm curious as to what Kelly Adams, that new bird from Hustle, looks like naked. Seems like a better way to exercise one's curiosity muscle to me. Still, each to his own.

My understanding with DD is:

1. If it is for a fixed amount, e.g. mortgage, they have to inform you when the amount changes.
2. If it is variable they have to inform you for every deduction.

How they inform you must have been defined at some point. I have my ADSL and telephone calls with Virgin and they send me a monthly email telling me of the next payment. My mortgage pcompany send me a letter when the interest changes.

What method of being informed did you select? I am now getting a number of statements via email now.
