Im having some problems on my home PC following the re loading of Win 98 and all the gubbings. I can get on the internet no problem(latest version). However when trying to log on to any sites such as PH or my online bank I cant seem to get in. No I know all userids work as I can get in on works PC. I have compared settings with work PC and its all the same. Any one know what is going on as Its getting on my breasticles a bit now.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Tools>Internet Options>Security.
Make sure it is set to Medium in the security options.
down the bottom of the window there. Default should be medium.

Tools>Internet Options>General...
Half way down the page..Temporary Internet Files......Delete Cookies.

Sometimes the Cookies upset all sorts of functions.

Are you running any advert blocking software like Adaware's Ad-Watch?

When you say 'Cant get in' - what exactly are the symptoms - IE just hangs? Doesnt launch additonal IE windows that are needed for these sites? Crashes? Gives an error?

No error messages. 2 examples for you

PH - log in, it says I have successfully logged in then when I go to forums, I need to log in again, do it but am still not logged in.

Tesco.com - log in, just keeps returning me to log in page.

I know both usernames work as I can access them on works gear. Im not rnning any ad software.
