"SINGER Jay Kay’s £1million Ferrari was smashed up this morning following an alleged row at a hotel in an upmarket seaside resort.
The incident happened in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, in the early hours.

Police sources confirmed that a 21-year-old man had been arrested and was being held in custody.

The Jamiroquai frontman – who is famed for his love of fast cars – was today unwilling to discuss the alleged attack on his car.

The driver’s side window and windscreen of his black Ferrari Enzo were smashed in.

Shards of glass were sprayed across the road outside the Brudenell Hotel, where he was staying.

MORE to follow.

I know that Jay kay likes to have a dig when he has had a few, not saying that was the case in this incident, but how stupid do you have to be to think you gould get away with smashing his Enzo???

The question may be not how stupid but how drunk wink

Glad they got the little bd, despite Jay Kay being no saint himself!

Not good & glad they caught the tt! - Also nice to read that Jay Kay took an interest in lesser cars as well though with the 'witness' having had a drink with him after being called over as Jay wanted to chat about his Supra!

I saw him on the way up in my lowly little town of Wickham Market, normally see Lambos round these parts but they are of the Tractor variety!

Editted to add, the Fish and Chippy was open late wasnt it? 2.30am and he's just returning to his car, crikey.

Hi

This is a real shame, and a true sign of Todays Britain where no one has any respect for anybody else's property...

I met JayKay about a year ago at the Eurotunnel, we had parked near him and he came over to have a chat about the cars we were driving. He is a true petrol head and a really nice guy.

No one, no matter what they drive diserves that...

Regards

Tom aka Zippy

Yes, least of all the police who didn't take anywhere near as much interest in my car when it got vandalised to a considerably greater extent than JK's Enzo, and with relatively speaking, a far greater detriment to my life than this will have to JK's. Still, I suppose the police have to appear interested in cases where there's a media interest rolleyes

I dunno - I've had tossers vanadalise my cars twice (totally separate incidents) and I found the Police OK. The first time they caught the bd and took him to court.....

.....then the courts, totally spineless as they, are let the guy off with a tag (which they forgot to fit), a £1000 fine (which in fairness he's paid) and a curfew he never kept too. I've spoken to him since and he confirmed he was just pissed and never had any grievance with me at all.

I'm not sure whether that's good or bad!!confused

Yes, a true sign. This kind of thing never happened 50 years ago and doesn't happen anywhere else in the country.
