look up pwr performance, they are an australian firm make various intercoolers and rads.also make these barrel type chargecoolers, one would fit in the space i have although it might act as a heat sink.they are rather expensive.

Ask the vendor for the efficiency graph - I'm yet to see one. Might well be nailed onto the front of a drag racing evo - but doesn't mean its actually any good for the road.
Having done the whole chargecooler thing extensively - I can only say try to run an intercooler if you possibly can, as chargecoolers are a compromise at best.
Start here if you are interested:

What do you mean by "expensive"?

I got my PWR charge cooler from http://www.chargecooler.co.uk/ - was quite happy for the price, as it fitted in my engine bay easily, and I didn't have to work out how to plumb in an efficient air supply to an intercooler.

Hi Chris,

They're quite small units and are like the PAW items inside in that the have a honeycomb and tubes running lengthwise. Inside each tube there's a small tab to slow down the airflow.

I've no idea if they'll be of any use or not but grabbed them when I found them. Anybody want an unused rocket, less coolingsmile

I know nothing about them except what's on the label. Fittings are turbo hose size though smile They're quite short, maybe 10" for the cylinder. I do hope they were designed to meet a 'brief' and didn't fail as most intercoolers on the market aren't tested as such.
