A poll last year showed that only 2% of the UK population were aware of the European Parliamentary Elections in June 2009

I like to vote. People died so that I could.

Quite funny that you would want to highlight an election. I thought your lot would want to keep any hint of any election well off the radar!

That is your party's fault. You are in government. It is your job to make the electorate aware.

I will be voting. I will not be voting for your party.

I don't support parliamentary democracies and a low turn out helps (very, very slightly) to undermine their legitimacy.

Give me referendums for all significant issues and devolve power to local organisations for less significant problems and I will support the system (well if I can't have an Anarcho-capitalism system).

The idea that one individual would represent all my views is far fetched, that they could represent accurately the full range of views in their constituency is beyond belief. Then you have the problem of party politics, does your elected representative put forward your views and concerns to the best of his ability or of the party he's a of member? Why exactly do we have political parties?

The sooner we send a message to the Clown and his nasty little socialist brethren that they have failed our country the better.

The question I was asking was whether you would be voting or knew we had elections rather than intent of party.

Hmm - the option I want isn't there. I know the Euro Parliament is elected but I didn't realise that there was an election on the way.

Edited to add - but of course I will use my vote.

I didn't to be honest. Presumably there'll be some kind of advertising beforehand (To remind me to spoil my paper with gratuitous insultsbiggrin)
