I'm sure I saw somewhere referenced in a thread a few days ago as a great source of spec and buildtimeline info for M3s but I cant find it now. Was possibly a russian website?

I'm interested in spec info for all 3 M3 variants. [essentially want to confirm my notion you cant get a CSL or CS with cruise control, then I'll re-enter my debate over how badly I need cruise control]

CSL has no cruise, infact, it has feck all!

The CS is a spruced up M3 with a few CSL parts on it, IIRC you could put cruise as an option on it.

Seriously though, the above 2 are extremely different cars, and if you are questioning yourself about something as trivial as cruise, the CSL is definitely NOT for you smile

Don't think you can get cruise on the CS either.

One of the changes is the M-track button on the steering wheel and that means the loss of all the usual multi-function buttons including the cruise control.

Ah, the beautiful patronisation that you only really get on PH.

Whilst I would love a CSL, I have already decided they are not of any use to me seeing as I drive 25k+ miles a year and their lack of all forms of creature comforts would eventually piss me off.

The CS seemed a reasonable bridge between the plain M3 and the CSL, but if it isnt available with cruise, I may well save my money and just get a cheaper M3.

As for cruise being trivial, I found it pretty useful coming back from Morzine a few weeks back. On legs like Dover - Glasgow its nice being able to set it at scamera safe speed and gain some relaxation for the remaining 6 hours.
