There seems to be a certain amount of wisdom on PH and I thought we should have a thread where we can collect this wisdom to share. It can be funny or serious, it can be about love or money anything you feel you know something about.

Don't shag your colleagues, especially those working for you (a lesson learned, but occasionally forgotten).

Don't forward e-mails without checking the chain of correspondence. If you do then f
k up, don't try to recall the e-mail; do this, and you're busted for sure.
