My article about my first season hillclimbing and sprinting in my Celica has made the front page
http://www.auto-journals.com
The article itself is here:

The new Auto-Journals web site is really easy to use if anyone else fancies giving it a go!

Good article, I'd love to have a go at sprinting, but don't have the money for it at the mo. I did by the MR2 I've got now to do it in, oh well may be one year!
Like the look of your Celica btw, I did think of getting one instead of the MR2 as I already had an ST205 at that point, but thought the MR2 would be cheaper to run.

If you have an MR2, why not do a round of the Toyota Sprint Series www.toyota-sprint-series.com ?
You don't need an MSA licence or overalls and helmets can be hired on the day. Cost would be aprox £80 entry fees, £10 helmet hire plus fuel, food etc.
It's a great series and very novice friendly.
