Anyone notice a shadow minister in the news today?
Discussion
Hmm managed to miss this - here's another reason why the whole MP expenses thing needs to be opened up.
I'm f
ked off with MPs spending s
t loads of cash on crap - yes mainly they need two houses but FFS let's do away with hiding their f
king expense accounts. They all have family members as PAs so they can get them to pull together the Excel sheets and actually do something to earn their f
king stipends.

The difference is that this one's a tory, so therefore not subject to PH criticism. Anyway, "she's not as bad as <<insert name of labour MP>> blah blah blah.
oh no, they are all as bad as each other, the tories or is it torys will not be persuing an ID card scheme, therefore they have my vote. One and only reason. (that and the lib dems or any other party will never stand a chance of winning)
Lying thieving cheat - no better than Jackpot Jacqui.
The only difference is scale but IMO she should be booted and prevented from standing again...as long as that rule goes for all.
After all, we couldn't have ZanuLabour running two unequal systems such as preventing the release of cabinet minutes as it undermines 'cabinet government' after releasing the cabinet minutes of a Tory crisis.
Still, Clare Short does state that there was no discussion as none was allowed by 'Call Me Tony'.

Why?Why can't they use a Traveloge/Premier Inn like everyone else does when they need to stay overnight in town?
So she's already done something that no Labour mp would do........appologised
Reported herself to the commons to clear things up

Mrs Spelman who had denied any wrong-doing apologised unreservedly after the committee's report was published.

Mrs Spelman referred the allegation herself to the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner John Lyon last year in an effort to clear her name.

"This is a finding which I take very seriously and I will of course immediately pay the money in question back."
If this had been a labour mp there would have as the op said been dozens of pages of anti labour posts...........but that would be because the labour mp would have denied it, fought it and then tried desperately to find some way not to pay it back

Do they have a loyalty card scheme
'cos if they do, then they could be taxed on the "benefit in kind" if they use the benefits for personal use
