scamera vans in the dark??

Just wondered if anyone has seen 'em around now its dark by 5ish?? Are they allowed to snap people??

As i understand it scameravans are not used after dark as they would need to use a flash on the camera to take a picture.They would have to stop you to obtain details.

From what I remember Will works in London on the busy roads which are well lit.

I would like to know if dark, wide, fast, and very safe NSL country roads would ever get targeted.

Different kettle of fish to roads like the A40/A406.
